The FHS Alumni Chapter helps you keep in touch with faculty and FHS graduates worldwide. In this page, you will be introduced to the job market, to continuing education programs, and to FHS events and activities.
Since its reactivation in June 2004, the Executive Committee of the FHS Chapter of the AUB Alumni Association has been actively working to achieve its mission and the objectives it has set for the coming years.
About the Chapter
The Faculty of Health Science Chapter of the Alumni Association at the American University of Beirut was first established in 1994. The chapter has witnessed three executive committees; all of which have focused on drawing partnerships primarily within FHS as well as with other community stakeholders in the field of health sciences. The executive committees have been active within the Alumni Association and conducted a myriad of awareness initiatives aiming at promoting health sciences among the community at large.

FHS Annual Career Networking Event connects experienced alumni with fresh FHS graduates
On July 15, 2021, FHS organized its Annual Career Networking Event that connected a dynamic group of FHS alumni, from different nationalities and working in different countries around the world, with the fresh MPH and MS graduates. Dean Sibai opened the meeting with a warm welcoming note, followed by the guest speakers. The experienced alumni shared their career stories and insights regarding working in the public health field. They advised the fresh graduates to explore every opportunity they come across, develop their skills constantly, and connect with knowledgeable mentors. FHS alumni also shared with the fresh graduates a few tips on how to prepare for and win a job interview.
The event concluded with an interactive Q & A session.
